Founded in 2020 with a full banking licence and backed by some of Silicon Valley’s most iconic investors, digital bank Zopa is building the “Home of Money”.

Zopa secured its banking license in just over 4 years, and has grown to just under 1.5m customers, achieved profitability, and launched unsecured personal loans, BNPL retail finance and POS, car finance, credit cards, savings accounts, and tools for improved financial management and health. In June 2025, Zopa also launched its UK current account, Biscuit.

Zopa was again voted the UK’s best Personal Loan Provider and best Credit Card Provider at the 2024 British Bank Awards. Zopa Bank Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority.
