Investors Chronicle: This fintech fund is a stand-out buy

Following the announcement of the proposed acquisition of Fullcircl by nCino, Simon Thompson covered Augmentum in his latest piece for Investors’ Chronicle.

‘Augmentum Fintech, the first publicly listed fintech fund, has announced its seventh portfolio company exit, all of which have been at or above the last published valuation.

nCino, the NASDAQ listed US digital banking platform, is acquiring FullCircl, the regulation technology platform that processes 300mn checks monthly on a real-time record of companies, officers, and shareholders, for $135mn in a transaction that values Augmentum’s stake at £6mn. The exit price represents a 75 per cent increase on the company’s last published valuation of £3.4mn and a 66 per cent premium to cost.’
