Johnnie works on the investment team at Augmentum where he focuses on identifying and supporting high-growth companies across the fintech landscape. He has played a key role in the firm’s investments in companies such as Artificial Labs, Pemo, RetailBook and LoopFX.

Prior to joining Augmentum, Johnnie worked in the Portfolio and Insights team at Montagu Private Equity. He began his career at PwC where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Newcastle University, where he wrote his dissertation on the potential effects of Blockchain technology on financial statement audits, sparking his early passion for the intersection of finance and technology.

Outside of work Johnnie enjoys cooking and training to improve on his average Hyrox time.
